Hysteroscopy

A hysteroscopy is an examination in which a small camera is used to examine the uterus. This is done at the consultation by one of our gynaecologist-hysteroscopists. During this examination, photos can be taken of the inside of the uterus, the mucous membrane is studied and the openings of the Fallopian tubes can be checked. A small piece of the mucous membrane can be removed for further examination.

Practical info : Your doctor will make you an appointment at the hysteroscopy consultation. This will take place in the gynaecology consultation at the Botanique -2 site route 961. Important! You must definitely not be pregnant during this examination. Therefore, either come after menstruation and before ovulation or use contraceptives during the cycle of the examination.
