The cost of insemination
Insemination treatments are largely reimbursed by the health insurance fund. This limits the cost to the patient. What the patient always has to pay is the so-called personal share of the cost of medication and of the fees for consultations, echographies and blood tests. Each treatment cycle works out at several dozen euros.

The cost of IVF
Since 2003, the lab cost for IVF has been reimbursed for up to six treatment cycles with egg cell aspiration. The cost of medication is also reimbursed for these six cycles. What the patient always has to pay is the so-called personal share of the cost of hospitalisation, medication, fees and blood tests. Each treatment cycle works out at several hundred euros.
