Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected sperm Injection

This is a new variant of the ICSI technique.

The sperm cells are significantly enlarged with a special microscope. Although not scientifically proven, this is thought to be a better way of selecting the sperm cells that can provide the best chance of pregnancy.
The technique is currently only used after repeated failures with IVF/ICSI cycles.
